Welcome to Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman
The Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman is the apex policymaking body for all the Indian Schools in the Sultanate. It currently governs 22 schools with more than 47,000 students and, under bye-laws approved by the Ministry of Education of Oman, establishes schools for the Indian community in Oman.
“As part of our strategic roadmap for the 2025–27 term, the Board has embarked on a bold transformation agenda, introducing AI and Financial Literacy into the curriculum from Grade 5, alongside teacher professional development and infrastructure upgrades.”
Online Admission
The Board of Directors, in its endeavour to upgrade the admission process, has set up an Online Admission System. Parents can find admission information, complete and submit application forms, and check selection results for seven Muscat-area schools: Muscat, Al Ghubra, Darsait, Al Wadi Al Kabir, Bousher, Al Seeb and Al Maabela.
Care & Special Education
True to its name, Care & Special Education (CSE) is Oman's home away from home for children with special needs aged 4 to 18.
